Wonder Market opened in 1955 when Gene Webb and Darwin “Lefty” Ray purchased the local Kroger store. They told many of their friends and customers they chose the name “Wonder Market” because they “wondered” if they could make it. Still the same as it was in the beginning, we continue to serve customers with fair prices, fine meats, fresh produce and friendly service…. Mike Ray, Owner
